The shipping was frustrating. I waited two weeks and it still hadn’t shown up, which just feels way too long.

I ordered a medium sweatshirt from theblackdog.com since that’s my usual size pretty much everywhere, including brands like Life is Good and Vineyard Vines. The print was genuinely cute, but the fit was just weird on me. The body was short and boxy, while the sleeves felt tight, so it didn’t match what I expected from the size chart at all.
I tried to wear it anyway, but after washing it, it felt even smaller. Shipping was totally fine, so no complaints there, but the sizing made the whole thing disappointing. If you’re between sizes or used to a more standard sweatshirt fit from other brands, I’d probably size up

I really like the overall look of the site, and the dog theme is cute. That said, some of the pages felt a bit crowded to me. Maybe I’m just not the best at finding things quickly, but I did have to click around more than I expected. It’s not a bad site at all, I just think it might be easier to use if everything felt a little cleaner and less packed in.

I wasnt too happy with it. I ordered from The Black Dog thinking it would be better, but the whole process was kinda slow and all over the place. I had to keep asking for updates, and when the item finally came it didn’t really feel worth the wait. Maybe other people have had better luck, but I don’t think I’ll order from them again

I checked back for the items I liked, but most of the sizes were already sold out. Compared to other places I’ve shopped, the stock seemed to disappear quickly, which was a little frustrating

I was able to exchange my item, so that part was fine. The return process just took longer than I expected, which made the whole thing feel a bit slow.

I just don’t think it’s worth the price. It’s not terrible or anything, but for what you actually get, it feels kinda over priced.

I ordered a hoodie and a mug, and overall they were okay. The hoodie is comfy and looks nice, but after just one wash I noticed a few loose threads in the stitching, which was a bit disappointing. The mug was totally fine though, no complaints there. For the price, I was expecting the hoodie to feel a little more "solid" quality-wise. Not a bad purchase, just not quite as good as I hoped.

That said, I had an issue with my order and customer service took a really long time to get back to me. When they finally did reply, it felt a bit rushed and didn’t really help much. I still like the products overall, but the support experience definitely could’ve been better.

After washing it a few times, though, the color started looking a little less there, if that makes sense, and the cuffs got looser than I wanted. It’s not destroyed or bad-bad, just not as sturdy feeling as I was hoping for.
I still wear it mostly around the house because it’s comfortable enough, but for what it cost, I kind of expected it to stay looking newer for longer. So yeah, it’s fine, but not really a big wow purchase

I ordered a couple of shirts and a mug from The Black Dog, and overall it was a okay experience. Shipping came within a reasonable time, and most of what I got was right, but one of the shirts showed up in the wrong size, which was disappointing.
Customer service did get back to me and helped fix it, so I appreciated that, but it took a few days and I kind of wish there had been a little more reassurance along the way that it was being handled. It wasn’t a terrible experience or anything, I just would’ve felt better if the order had been checked more carefully before it shipped.
